Welcome to the San Francisco Injury Center for Research and Prevention's website. The mission of the Center is to reduce the number of injuries in our community through our research, to disseminate our research and to train the next generation of researchers to continue this endeavor. We are grateful to the Centers for Disease Control for granting us continual funding for 20 years. This funding has been supplemented with grants from state and local governments, other federal sources and private grants and gifts.
